A little late to this but I want to celebrate you for modelling not having to do it all. Things are precarious here too, which it always is, and there's SO much to resonate with about the shiny online space. Oof. Anyway. I hope you're doing better health wise and able to enjoy some down time <3

Nat! Thank you!! I'm still reeling from the decision not to do NSOTA - but I do trust it was the right thing. I hope you folks had a good summer and got some down time too (not so easy with a wee one, I know, but hopefully there were pockets of rest). xx

thank you for sharing this Lottie, you inspire me always <3 I’m proud of you for honoring your biological boundaries and intuition - it’s huge and a great example of an important part of working with cycles.

I feel for you and the mixed feels though - I’m glad you of course recognize it’s not your only chance <3 I’m here in solidarity with you & so grateful for all you do and more importantly who you are!

(also so curious to find out more about both the new school for anthropecene & menstrual futures panel! thank you for sharing)

(and Bayo is just so inspiring)

Thank you so much for witnessing me here, Rachael. It’s lovely to feel your solidarity and encouragement! And the feeling of being inspired is definitely mutual! I’m very grateful to continue to be in this web of cyclical work with you. (Maybe we could have a virtual cuppa one day to catch up? X)

I totally get that tightrope of having to put some things on hold or scale them back. All your brilliant work is interconnected! When/if you come back to the academic project/book idea--it will now be informed by all the other brilliant things you will have done and thought about. (As someone who has had to make similar decisions--I saved every blog post, every shred of an idea, so that I could have a bread crumb trail back when I had the spoons/time/resources.) I'm excited for you.

Hey Allyson! Thank you so much for these words of encouragement. Honestly, it's so good to hear from other folks who have had to make similar decisions. Truly, it is a tightrope! I've been feeling quite anxious that I will forget stuff or lose the growing network of connections I've been making, so I love this idea of creating a bread crumb trail back to everything. xx
